Also, Kudos to the Shins. They've produced their first music video in 5 years and it is truly spectacular. One of the best I've seen this year (so far). Go check it out on Youtube!
Have commenced To Kill A Mockingbird and it's coming along quite well.
"Until I feared I would lose it, I never loved to read. One does not love breathing."
"'You never really understand a person until you consider things from his point of view-'. 'Sir?' '-until you climb into his skin and walk around in it.'"On another note, Jane Eyre is quite an entertaining and gripping read -- not entirely what I suspected! Wuthering Heights was real sour to digest but there's a fruity (no pun intended with correlation to the image) humour that I glean while flipping through the pages. Haven't felt this way about a book for a while, so I'm rather glad the feeling has resurfaced. I find myself well contented with the book's progressing, although at certain times I don't approve of rushed scenes (taking into consideration that the tedious dinner party was dragged on).
Lastly, I've checked out a volume of Seamus Heaney's poems from the library. Scrawled my top 10 (ish) favourite Sylvia Plath poems below a shoe-box (the only accessible writing surface that night within an arm's reach), and planned to return it earlier had I not forgotten I placed it under the same box.
The weekend is ahead, and that's lovely.
